Class Descriptions
Mat Class – A comprehensive 1-hour small-group class for beginning to intermediate students. We focus on working precisely and correctly to build core strength and flexibility. Props (fitness circles, toning balls, flex bands, etc.) are sometimes used for added challenge. No sign-up necessary, but there is a maximum of 6 participants.
Power Reformer * – A 3-person sign-up class focusing on building strength and stamina on the most popular piece of STOTT™ PILATES equipment, the reformer. This invigorating fast-paced class will challenge alignment, stamina and control. Participants will get an energizing total-body workout.
Due to the need for some equipment familiarity a private orientation session is required prior to power reformer sessions. In this private session, students will review the Five Basic Principles
of the STOTT™ PILATES method, will get an energizing workout and learn
how the reformer is used in a class format.
Combo Class * – A slightly shorter (45 minutes), fast-paced class with 20 minutes on the mats, 20 minutes on the reformers and 5 minutes of stretching. Class will focus on abs and glutes, increase flexibility and still allow for plenty of time to get back to work.
